The September evening meeting is:

Thursday, September 6 from 6 pm – 8:30 pm

Alfalfa’s Market

785 E South Boulder Rd

Louisville, CO 80027

Continuing the series on quilting, we will learn about Quilt-As-You-Go from Anne Deister. Social hour begins at 6pm and our presentation is from 7 – 8:30 pm. Quilt-As-You-Go is a technique that combines piecing and quilting into a single sewing process so everything is done at once. It is commonly referred to as QAYG. There are several different methods that can be used. Anne will be discussing several of these techniques and talking about the pros and cons of each. As well as how to decide which methods are best for which projects. Discussions will cover stitch and flip, row by row, block by block, joining strips, and self binding QAYG methods.

Please bring any projects you have made using QAYG for show and tell.
