On March 22, 2021 the Boulder community was shaken by a shooting that took place at a local grocery store. The Boulder MQG will be raising money to support the families of the victims during this difficult time. From today until April 12, 2021 you can purchase a special foundation paper piecing pattern and all proceeds will be donated directly to theĀ Colorado Healing Fund.* The pattern is a PDF to download and print.
This pattern was designed by Katie Larson for the guild’s 2020 QuiltCon charity quilt. Katie has generously volunteered the pattern as a way to help following this tragedy.
*There will be 2500 patterns available up to $25,000 in donations. This pattern will only be available until April 12, 2021.
Hi, quick question: does the pattern come through email or is a paper pattern being mailed?
It’s a PDF download. I’ll edit to add that!
Is there a list of material requirements for the quilt and also finished size?
The lettering is in a 40″x35″space, I believe the finished quilt was 65″x85″. I know when our guild made it we bought 4 yards of the backing fabric and 2 yards of the fabric for the letters but I don’t know how much we had left.
Hi again, how do I receive the pdf download? I purchased a copy. Thank you!
You should have been redirected to a page with the download page and also received an email with a link. If you can’t find it I can email you a copy.
Hi Rebecca,
I did not receive the link. If you could send to me, that would be great! Thank you –
Colleen
You should have received an email with the link.
A wonderful gesture of support. I have purchased the pattern and will share the info on my quilting groups. Let’s hope it sells out before the deadline!
What size paper does this print on. I used 8.5 x 11 and it is only partially printed?
Mary, it should be on 8.5×11 paper. If you are still having trouble, please email us at info at bouldermqg.com
